In both Harrison Bergeron and GATTACA they try to use technology to control the world. I think nether one was successful in achieving equality. In both of them there was someone that didn't follow the rules witch made it unfair to everyone else. Therefore there is no such thing as equality.

"Harrison and Bergeron" and "GATTACA'' are both about making the world equal. i don't think either were successful in that aspect. in both there were people above everyone else, in Harrison and Bergeron, the people who weren't regarede as "equal" to everyone else, were below everyone else, and in GATTACA the people who weren't regarded as "equal" were below everyone else

they tried to show equality by making everyone the same as each other, no one was better then other.they was all the same. i feel that either story was successful because they had people who was stronger then others.some had heart problems the others didn't.In the reading Harrison Bergeron Harrison was the strongest of all. In the movie Gattaca people one group was better then the others thats not really eqaul because you want everyone to have the same thing and be the same

I didn't get to see gottaca but in Harrison bergeron that's not truly equality because making the wear the handecappers is really just making them feel the sane there a still the face of how every one has there different strengths physically and mentally allowing them to accomplish diffrent things for example to one person it may have seemed like a cruel punishment that was almost impossible to survive but to someone else I may have been really easy and simple so no that's not equality

Harrison and Bergeron and Gattaca are equal but in ways i fell like gattaca is more equal you can test things that you would like to know like your kids death and what dieseases they might have later on during thier life.In harrison and Bergeron i think the handicapped part was ok but thats was really it.

In Both Gattaca & Harrison Beregon they made people equal. GATTACA made genetically modified people who were the special ones. They also had the god made children who were not treated the same & had poor lives & jobs. In the end i think GATTACA failed at everyone being equal. Harrison Beregon made everyone exactly the same which the suceeded & I think they truly made everyone the same.

In the movie GATTACA. There were equal with upper and lower classes. As in if you're modify. Your in a higher chance of living and get what you want but if your a god born child your in the lower class and that is how you also equal. In the store Harrison Bergeron you have a a living place as in where ui are slow and smart..........they are equal you can't be free and be your own person

In GATTACA and Harrison Bergeron nobody is not equal because of the government controls everything. The government is everything. The government controls my life. If the government says jump i say how high. I hate the government. You cant stop the government.
